About the Department
The M.Sc. (Chemistry) programme in MDU is a full time one year/two year programme that provides a strong foundation of fundamental and advanced aspects of chemistry and their applications in industry and research. It is impossible to work out big global issues without chemistry. We need chemistry almost everywhere-to manufacture new materials, examine the properties of substances, develop production techniques, separate and identify substances, invent new purification methods and develop quality control. Our education will qualify you for working in research, teaching and the chemical industry. It addresses the desire and demand of many students of the B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons. / Major) in Chemistry looking for job prospects in teaching / research / industry and R&D labs.
The Department of Chemical Sciences at the Maya Devi University is a distinguished academic unit dedicated to the study of chemistry and its applications in various fields. The department offers a comprehensive and hands-on education in the principles and practices of chemistry through diverse range of programs.
